KABUL, Afghanistan (Feb. 18) – The Kunduz Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) conducted a winter relief action for 450 families in Lala Maydan recently.
Families were given flour, tea, sugar, rice and cooking oil, funded by the German Federal Government. Additionally, firewood was handed out to the tribal elder for distribution.
Additionally, 2,000 families in Bagh i Shirkat and another 500 families in Jannat Bagh were given similar food items, while Ali Abad families were given clothing.
Within one week, four winter relief actions were conducted in Kunduz Province and further actions are being planned.
