A person was gunned down in broad daylight in Pani Taqseem area of Zhob.
According to details, unidentified armed men sprayed bullets at Abdul Qayyum known as Ghwat Khan in Pani Taqseem area of Zhob district.
The assailants managed to flee from the crime scene after committing the crime.
The area people spotted the body and informed Zhob Police. He was rushed to DHQ civil hospital Zhob, Where the doctors pronounced him dead. He was handed over to heirs after medico legal formalities.
“The victim was shot from a very close range as the bullets pierced through his body. The victim sustained two bullets”, said DSP Sheikh Zia Mandokhail.
The motive behind the killing has not yet been ascertained and it is beyond everyone’s understanding.
Police have filed a case against unknown persons and started to probe into the matter.
