A fire eruptedin the engine of a D.I Khan-bound PIA plane at Zhob Airporthere. All the passengers and crew are safe.

   According to details, A Pakistan InternationalAirlines PIA plane bound for D.I Khan with 47 passengers on board caught fireafter taking off from Zhob airport.

   “PIA’s flight No. PK-688 made an emergencylanding after its engine caught fire,” said an official on condition of anonymity at Zhob Airport.

   The flight, carrying 47 passengers and 5crew members, took off for D.I Khan from Zhob late Sunday night, and after fewminutes of flying the engine caught fire due to some technical fault.

Allthe passengers are safe. Sources added.
