Badghis PRT celebrates new year with local leaders
KABUL, Afghanistan (Mar. 25) – ISAF’s Spanish Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in Badghis celebrated the new Afghan year in many ways in Qala-e-Naw.
First, ISAF soldiers helped start the official school year for high school students at Hanzala with donated educational material.
The PRT then went on to attend an official function celebrating the Day of Agriculture with provincial and local authorities, as well as religious leaders, where they donated agricultural materials.
Afterwards, the Provincial Delegation of Agriculture in Badghis then hosted PRT members for a meal to celebrate the new year acknowledging the cooperation of local and provincial authorities with the ISAF PRT.
