Locals from all around South Waziristan were trying to join to participate in the peaceful sit-in, but they were stopped by Army personnel on their way to sit-in right on a bridge before Razmak and are not allowed to get to Razmak.

They waited here for two days expecting that state will hear them, but the state instead of hearing them, it’s not even taking it seriously. State is trying to cover up the violence in Shaktio and trying not to be blamed for its brutalities. The state has not been in contact with protestors so far, and it’s not going to be. So, they finally decided today to go to Razmak to stage a peaceful sit-in in front of the largest army camp in Razmak. They will move to Razmak tomorrow (Thursday 10 September 2020) at 3 PM.
