   Senior Surgeon Dr. AyazMandokhail laid to rest in presence of thousands of mourned relatives in his ancestralvillage Mandezai here.

   According to details, seniorsurgeon and assistant professor at the BMC, Dr Ayaz Mandokhail suffering fromthe Congo Crimean Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) breathed his last on Tuesday at theAga Khan Hospital Karachi.

   He wasimmediately rushed to Karachisome days back on suspicion of being infected with the Congo virus duringa surgery of a Congo-affected Afghan refugee womanat a hospital in Quetta.
   The funeral prayer was offered in No.1ground. He was laid to rest in his native village Killi Mandezai inthe presence of thousands of mourned relatives, doctors, journalists, politicians,tribal leaders and friends including Deputy Commissioner Sherani MuhammadTariq, Assistant Commissioner Sheikh Jahanzeb Mandokhail, Ex-Nazim Muhammad ShafiqMandokhail, Dr. Kamal Khan Mandokhail, Dr. Eid Muhammad Mandokhail, Dr. SharbatMandokhail and Dr. Khudai e Dad Mandokhail participated in his last rites. Itwas very emotional scene and every one was weeping.

   Meanwhile, tribal, political and socialfigures have expressed sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Dr. Ayaz Mandokhailand termed it a huge loss to the people of Balochistan.
